Mymensingh Disabled Peoples Organization to Development (Mymensingh DPOD) is a Disabled Peoples Organization (DPO) working in Mymensingh district of Bangladesh. Mymensingh DPOD has been working since 2002 with direct involvement of the persons with disabilities.
The organization was started as a part of the approach titled Persons with Disabilities Self-Initiative to Development (PSID) of Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS) and through organizing persons with disabilities of the local areas.
Working area:
Mymensingh DPOD is working in the Unions of Bhaluka Upazila (sub-district) of Mymensingh districts. The Unions are – Bharadoba, Dhitpur, Bhaluka purosobha, Mallikbari, Meduary, Harirbari, Uthura, Birunia, Dhakatia and Kachina.
